Camp Cornerstone

June 24-29, 2012
Designed especially for Middle School students

Building On A Solid Foundation
Join us for an exciting camp session geared especially for Middle School students. Come strengthen your FAITH, enjoy the company of FRIENDS and find FOCUS on God's will for your life. 

Camp will be full of activities including service projects, worship, active Bible classes, sports, singing, concerts, games, and groups.

Housing
Campers will be housed in air-conditioned dorm rooms.  Students will sleep on dorm beds, mattresses or foam pads.  Some mattresses will not be in bed frames.

Counselors
We are assembling a great group of college age and adult counselors to work with our students. 

Cost
$225 per student.  Save $25 by registering early. Earlybird registration fee is $200.00 if postmarked by May 10, 2012.

The cost includes housing, meals, t-shirt, and activities.  Students may purchase items from the camp store during scheduled times.  A key deposit of $20 cash is required at check-in.  Key deposis will be returned upon surrender of key at check-out.

Registration
Camp Cornerstone is designed for those in middle school. If your youth group is coming, please check with your youth minister on group age requirements. 

If you are registering with your youth group, please check with your coordinator about their own requirements.

Check-In
Sunday, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the University House Lobby. All check-in must be completed by 5:00 p.m. No early arrivals. It is very important that all students are checked in before 5:00 p.m.

Check-Out
Friday, at 10:30 a.m. Parents, please be on campus by 10:00 a.m. to check out your students. Campus must be cleared by 11:00 a.m.

Dress & Conduct
Students are expected to dress and conduct themselves in appropriate manners. Modest clothing must be worn at all times.

Students are expected to comply with all camp rules and guidelines. Failure to comply with rules and guidelines is grounds for immediate dismissal from camp. No refunds or credits will be given for dismissal.

Closed Camp
To enhance the camper’s experience we do not allow checking in and out of camp. Students cannot be checked out for visits, sports events, etc. When registering, please plan on staying for the full session of camp. Students who check out early will not be allowed to return to camp during this session.

Camp Guidelines
Students must agree to the CampOC 2012 guidelines. Failure to comply with these guidelines are grounds for immediate dismissal from camp.

Consent Form
No student application can be processed without a parent or legal guardian signing the consent document on the student application form. Any special medical conditions and or medications must be attached to this form. A student will not be admitted to camp unless a release form is signed by his/her parent or guardian. This release form will allow emergency medical treatment to be sought and administered for your child. It also gives us permission to transport your child to any scheduled off campus activities (within a few miles of campus) and allows us to use photographs (students never named) for promotional purposes.

Special Activity Clothing
OC will host a giant water slide. Students must dress in modest attire. Students should bring old clothing to participate in this optional event.

An email system is set up to deliver printed emails each day to campers and staff. Campers do not have the ability to reply. Only emails sent through this system will be delivered. System will be online during the first day of camp.
