STAFF POSITIONS ARE FILLED FOR 2023 SEASON
We are looking for great volunteers for the 2023 CampOC sessions! This might be just the place for you to serve this summer. After reading through the different staff positions, please complete a Staff Application All approved staff must attend a mandatory Saturday night orientation before the session. Do not apply if you cannot attend Saturday orientation of the session you are applying for.
Camp Counselors - NEEDED FOR 2023 SESSIONS
Counselors are the “care-givers” to our students. They are to serve students wholeheartedly and model Christ-like attitudes, behavior, speech and dress. Counselors are required to undergo pre-camp training. Counselors are teamed up to work together to assure the care and well-being of each student in their group. They are to be spiritual role models. For each camp session these are the minimum age requirements you must meet before applying. Zenith counselors must be at least one year removed from the oldest campers or be serving one of our ministry staff members as a paid summer intern. This means you must have completed your sophomore year in college to serve. We will not approve counselors who were eligible to be campers the previous summer. Camp Cornerstone counseors must have completed their junior year of high school or older.
Support Staff
We might better define this role as the "servant staff". People with a heart for serving. Support staff aids the counselors while we are in the dorms, sorts mail, volunteers at camp central, folds t-shirts, helps with catered meals, helps set-up and take down venues, and just about anything we need done to make camp a great experience for our campers. Support staff are typically adults, and cannot bring younger children to camp with them. Limited support staff positions available.
Director's Aids
Selected by the Camp Director to assist in the daily operations of camp. Please apply for a support staff position and notate that you have been asked to apply as a DA. Limited positions available. DA's work long hours and do much physical labor. This job is not for the weak. You will report only to the Camp Director.
Medical Staff
We can use you at any of our CampOC sessions in the camp clinic if you are an RN, or EMT. Limited positions available. This is a great place to serve if you are qualified, but know the camp clinic is 24 hours a day for the whole week of camp.
Watch Staff
Adult workers willing to work late nights and early morning shifts to keep a watchful eye on our resident halls as well as serve as in other support roles. We love having police officer/law enforcement dads serve in this role as well as dads who love being night owls.
Other positions at camp include our our Ministry Staff who are in full time Youth Ministry and help plan CampOC sessions. The Camp Director will appoint Lead Counselors and Assistant Supervisory staff as needed for each session.
All potential staff must undergo a BACKGROUND check before final approval.
